Flex is a growth-stage fintech company building the payment layer for life's financial obligations. The company enables households to see, split, and pay bills flexibly, helping customers manage cash flow while building credit history through on-time payments.
As Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations for the Consumer Protection Team, you will partner directly with the Senior Director to drive high-impact projects that champion the customer throughout Flex's operations. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, requiring you to identify and quantify customer experience insights, collaborate on solutions across Product, Analytics, and Customer Success, and build systems that prioritize customer impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with your team leader to set strategy and translate it into tangible near-term goals and execution frameworks
- Applying business knowledge and analytical skills to identify the most critical customer challenges, then partnering with Analytics and Data Science to test hypotheses and build lasting infrastructure around insights
- Working cross-functionally with Product Managers and functional leads to prioritize customer experience priorities across the business
- Distilling progress into executive-level reports and facilitating strategic reviews with senior stakeholders
- Managing a diverse portfolio of projects with velocity, adapting rapidly to shifting priorities while maintaining composure under pressure
You will have frequent exposure to Flex's Executive Team and hands-on experience with what it takes to lead and operate a world-class consumer fintech. The role requires producing both rigorous data analysis and executive-ready deliverables from day one, working autonomously or with your team.
This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week at Flex's New York headquarters. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside the NY/NJ area.

- Exceptional conceptual thinking with ability to move fluidly from strategy to execution and make amorphous problems tractable
- Strong bias for action paired with obsessive attention to detail and high bar for work quality
- Well-honed interpersonal skills; ability to drive results through others without compromising relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complexity into clear, executive-ready narratives
- Exceptionally analytical with ability to identify right metrics and rigorously interrogate data independently and through others; SQL proficiency preferred but not required
- Demonstrated AI fluency: actively leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve team workflows, and drive better decisions
- Genuine passion for customer impact and doing right by customers
