The Solutions Engineering team partners with clients to maximize adoption of Airwallex products and drive their growth. As a Senior Manager of Solution Engineering for APAC, you will lead a team of five supporting both Enterprise and SME sales organizations across the region. You will serve as the technical point of contact and trusted advisor for clients throughout the pre-sales, solution design, and API integration phases. Key responsibilities include: - Managing team performance, delivering OKRs, and allocating resources to meet schedules and objectives - Becoming an expert on Airwallex's financial infrastructure platform and its role in the digital economy - Leading the RFP management process and collaborating with commercial, product, engineering, legal, and operations teams - Crafting complex solutions for challenging customer projects and overseeing successful go-lives - Partnering with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and C-level executives to deliver product demos and solutions aligned with customer goals You will work in a hybrid environment with 3 days per week required in the Singapore office. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements - 8+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles (solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer) at global software enterprises - 2+ years in a team-leader capacity - Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to juggle competing priorities - Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working with customers, partners, and engineering teams - Executive engagement skills and presence; ability to establish relationships with key decision-makers Preferred qualifications: - Knowledge of payments domain or financial services - Hands-on experience developing product solutions internally or in consulting roles - Passion for learning and actively seeking knowledge - Ability to work independently and develop paths forward with customers in ambiguous circumstances - Strategic and creative thinking with proactive problem identification
