OneTrust is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead strategic and technical initiatives in Bengaluru. In this role, you will set strategic goals for your engineering team, hire and develop engineers, and prioritize high-impact projects. You'll balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical involvement—designing new products, identifying requirements, and driving execution with excellence.
Your core responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end development activities, monitoring system reliability and performance, ensuring security compliance, and managing software development projects through clear requirements, goals, and timelines. You will design development strategies aligned with company objectives, implement innovative technologies, coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, and provide technical oversight to your team. You'll identify process improvements, build onboarding and mentoring programs to develop engineers, and ensure projects deliver on schedule.
You bring 12+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of successfully developing and delivering complex, enterprise-class software with material market impact. Your background includes recent hands-on experience in development, operations, troubleshooting, and team management. You have deep expertise in system design and architecture, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and agile software development. You understand DevOps models and bring strong critical thinking, analytical skills, consulting abilities, and conflict management capabilities. You demonstrate systematic problem-solving, ownership, and drive.
