OneTrust is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead engineering teams building the next generation of the AI-Ready Governance Platform. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Customer Engineering, Architecture, and Software Development, with responsibility for Privacy, Consent, Risk, AI Governance, and Compliance solutions.
You will lead multiple engineering teams, establish technical direction, scale modern engineering practices, and drive execution against strategic customer commitments. Working closely with Product Specialists, Solution Architects, and Design Partner customers, you will translate real-world customer challenges into durable product innovations that benefit the entire market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute engineering strategy for customer-driven innovation initiatives. Align technical investments with product strategy, customer needs, and long-term platform objectives while ensuring predictable delivery and operational excellence.
- Recruit, develop, and retain world-class engineers and technical leaders. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. Establish clear career growth paths and mentorship programs.
- Partner with Product Specialists, Architects, and strategic customers to rapidly validate ideas, prototype solutions, and deliver capabilities addressing complex customer challenges. Drive conversion of customer feedback into product investments.
- Establish engineering standards, architecture principles, quality practices, observability frameworks, security controls, and operational processes ensuring scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems. Champion modern software engineering practices.
- Deliver exceptional customer outcomes, accelerate product quality and adoption, improve engineering productivity through AI, and build a high-performing organization capable of consistently delivering market-leading solutions.
