Amplify Education is seeking a Senior Manager for Resource Planning to lead operational transformation across the Product organization's Content teams. Amplify serves 18+ million students and teachers across all 50 states and six continents, providing K–12 literacy, biliteracy, math, and science curriculum and assessment solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Content discipline expertise and central operations, serving as the staffing and capacity nerve center for hundreds of team members across overlapping projects. You will drive standardized planning, track builds, and support shared standards and communities of practice. Key Responsibilities: 1. Drive staffing and capacity visibility across Content teams by maintaining accurate, centralized visibility into staffing allocations, roles, skill sets, and available capacity; monitor velocity and productivity trends; coordinate contractor and vendor support; and serve as primary operational contact for staffing and planning inquiries. 2. Apply standardized planning, execution, and build tracking across Content projects by adapting standard team models to content workflows, utilizing central effort estimation frameworks, maintaining consistent tracking views, and guiding practitioners through new operational processes. 3. Steward shared standards and cross-functional content network by leading collaborative forums to align standards and share best practices, maintaining playbooks and templates, helping teams identify operational bottlenecks, and translating between craft and operations perspectives. 4. Connect Content resourcing and standards to the broader operating model by supporting stage gates, partnering with Finance & Analytics on budget tracking, delivering operational metrics reporting to senior leadership, and managing meeting cadences and reporting rhythms. You will work closely with content teams to address operational needs while advancing the central planning agenda, balancing deep craft understanding with operational fluency. This is a mid-level individual contributor role requiring an organized, data-driven professional who can serve as the operational backbone for content teams. Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in operations, resource management, capacity planning, or program coordination, ideally within creative, design, production, or studio environments. EdTech, publishing, or education experience is a plus. May substitute years of experience for education. - Bachelor's degree in business, operations, communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail across data structures and tracking systems. - Proficiency with data management, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to maintain clean datasets and build clear visual reports. - Proven ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and balance cross-functional priorities. - Experience using project management and resource tracking software (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office suite). Familiarity with creative workflows preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering concise updates to leadership and functional teams. - Proactive problem-solver comfortable operating in evolving organizational structures and motivated by K–12 education.
