Honey Homes is transforming home care by pairing homeowners with dedicated, full-time craftsmen supported by AI-powered technology. The company operates across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Chicago, and beyond, serving thousands of homeowners.
You'll own lifecycle strategy across the prospect and early member journey, using audience insights, messaging, and experimentation to convert interest into action. This is a hands-on role where you identify opportunities, design programs, execute flawlessly, and measure results—not a strategy-only position.
Key responsibilities include:
**Prospect Lifecycle Engine**: Own end-to-end lifecycle programs from MQL to new member, including strategy, segmentation, messaging, content, automation, experimentation, and measurement. You'll manage email and SMS tooling directly and ship programs without waiting on Engineering. Launch 2–3 new programs or experiments monthly across MQL nurture, walk-through recovery, sign-up abandonment, waitlist activation, new-market launches, and seasonal campaigns.
**Member Advocacy**: Build scalable programs that turn happy members into advocates. Identify and recruit ambassadors through personalized outreach, manage incentives and payouts, and use AI to increase personalization at scale. Interview members to uncover compelling stories and create content for the website, lifecycle campaigns, sales, paid channels, social, and PR. Maintain a pipeline of seasonal and topical content showcasing Honey Homes' expertise, members, and craftspeople.
**Execution & Rigor**: You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution—writing SMS copy, analyzing funnel data, interviewing members, designing experiments, and identifying AI automation opportunities. You're equally comfortable thinking big-picture and diving into details. You prioritize relentlessly, communicate clearly, and act like an owner, caring about outcomes beyond your immediate scope.
The role requires comfort with ambiguity and building playbooks rather than following them. You'll use AI proactively to build, test, automate, and improve programs. Strong analytical skills, exceptional writing, and experience with behavioral data are essential.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, consumer marketing, or combination thereof
- Demonstrated experience owning lifecycle programs across email and/or SMS, including segmentation, automation, experimentation, and measurement
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with examples of personally created communications or campaigns
- Strong analytical instincts and experience using funnel and behavioral data to identify opportunities and improve conversion
- Experience building or scaling programs from 0→1, not solely operating mature programs
- Hands-on comfort working in marketing and analytics tools rather than relying exclusively on agencies or other teams
- Excited to use AI and automation as part of everyday workflow
- Fast-moving startup or high-ownership environment experience strongly preferred
- Consumer, marketplace, membership/subscription, local-services, or home-services experience is a plus but not required
