Salary: USD 152,000 - 198,000 / annual
Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Security to lead the company's IT security team within the Information Technology organization. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the CISO team, responsible for implementing and maintaining security infrastructure and technologies that protect the company's sensitive information and assets.
In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of IT security professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will mentor and develop team members, providing guidance to help them achieve their full potential, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
**Security Strategy & Implementation:** Work closely with the CISO team to develop and execute the company's cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, developing mitigation plans and implementing security controls. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM systems.
**Incident Response & Management:** Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring the team is prepared to respond effectively to security incidents. Lead investigation and resolution of significant security incidents, working with stakeholders to minimize impact and prevent future occurrences. Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve processes.
**Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. Develop and maintain risk management frameworks. Establish and monitor KPIs and operational metrics, actively participating in reporting cycles and monthly/quarterly status reviews.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's in Cybersecurity preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT security, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of developing and implementing security strategies and programs
- Strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with incident response and management
- Familiarity with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of business objectives and ability to align security initiatives with business goals
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications preferred
