Twitch is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications to lead internal comms strategy and execution across the company. This role sits within the Marketing & Communications team and owns two primary areas: internal communications strategy and All Hands programming.
In the internal communications capacity, you will author company-level messaging to ensure employees receive necessary information and context. You'll partner with executives and teams across Twitch on sensitive or complex issues, anticipating employee questions and helping leaders communicate clearly. You'll develop comprehensive comms plans for organizational changes, company announcements, and other important moments. You'll also track employee engagement and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and usefulness of communications.
On the All Hands side, you'll lead editorial strategy and content development for company-wide programming. Working closely with production and creative partners, you'll manage run of show, speaker prep, creative elements, and live production. You'll build relationships across the company to uncover great stories, interesting speakers, and work employees should know about. A key part of this role is thinking creatively about how All Hands can evolve—viewing it as programming rather than just a meeting—and developing new segments and formats that keep it fresh and engaging. You'll bring rigor to measuring success using attendance, engagement, feedback, and other signals to understand what resonates and what should change.
The role offers significant range: one day you might be shaping communications for an organizational change; the next, developing a new All Hands segment or finding a compelling story buried somewhere in the company. You'll need excellent judgment, strong instincts, and real creative ambition—someone who runs toward hard problems and is always thinking about how to make internal communications more useful, interesting, and engaging.
You can work from Twitch offices in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, or Seattle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
- Ability to build a communications strategy around complicated transitions and execute on detailed All Hands segments
- Curiosity about what's happening across the company, what employees care about, and what they need to hear; comfort asking tough questions and pushing for clarity
- Creative mindset with opinions about what makes internal programming interesting; ability to find good stories inside a company and willingness to experiment, measure, and pivot
- Strong project management and production skills; ability to keep multiple timelines moving simultaneously while delivering weekly programming and planning ahead
- Ability to turn ideas into compelling segments, bring company and community moments to life, and partner effectively with creative and production teams
