You will manage daily laboratory operations for immunoassay development, including study scheduling, staff planning, assay execution oversight, sample and reagent readiness, instrument coordination, data review, and documentation. You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of scientists and research associates responsible for immunoassay development, platform evaluation, method optimization, routine analytical testing, and lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities include assigning and prioritizing laboratory work based on program needs and timelines; providing technical and operational oversight to ensure high-quality assay execution and accurate documentation; supporting development of fit-for-purpose immunoassays for potency, antigenicity, identity, impurity, characterization, and stability across the vaccine pipeline; overseeing execution of immunoassay development, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation studies; and providing hands-on technical support for assay execution and troubleshooting as needed.
You will evaluate innovative immunoassay platforms and technologies including ELISA, MSD, bead-based assays, multiplex assays, and automation-enabled workflows. You will coordinate routine analytical testing within the CMC Immunoassay group, support troubleshooting studies, review experimental data and documentation for scientific quality and data integrity, manage analytical control strategy execution, and oversee outsourced immunoassay activities with CROs.
