Brex is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM AI Engineer to lead the development and governance of AI applications across the go-to-market organization. This is a net-new, high-impact role focused on transforming ad-hoc AI experiments into a governed, production-grade capability for Sales, Revenue Operations, and Enablement. You will own the internal sales enablement AI roadmap, deciding what gets built, what gets sunset, and why. This includes AI applications across the enablement lifecycle: certification, onboarding, content, coaching, and ramp. You'll personally build and ship production code—not just hand off specs—using Python, TypeScript, or comparable languages, with strong preference for LLM and agentic application experience. Key responsibilities include: setting the prioritization framework for GTM AI investments; building and standardizing the AI tooling stack; making strategic build-vs-buy decisions (evaluating third-party vendors like Gong, Itero, and Highspot against in-house development on Brex's AI stack); and developing deep fluency in the sales domain to identify where AI creates real leverage versus where it's a solution looking for a problem. You'll serve as a lynchpin between Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering. This is a hybrid role combining strategist, engineer, and embedded partner responsibilities. You'll work in one of Brex's five hubs (San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Salt Lake City, or Vancouver) with a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work. Required: 4+ years in go-to-market roles (Revenue Ops or Enablement) with 1+ year building sales-technology domain work; proven ability to ship production code that sales teams rely on daily; real fluency in sales processes and domain knowledge; track record of defining and tracking success metrics; experience driving adoption, not just deployment; comfort with high autonomy and ambiguity; bias toward governance and simplicity.
