Salary: USD 130,000 - 150,000 / annual
Pomelo Care is a virtual medical practice specializing in women and children's healthcare, covering pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. The company combines 24/7 clinical care with technology to identify risks early and deliver personalized care at scale.
As Senior Manager, Growth, you will own and accelerate Pomelo's health plan partnership pipeline, reporting to the VP of Growth. Your primary focus is driving deal strategy and expanding opportunities to serve patients through strategic payer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing data-driven deal strategy by analyzing pipeline effectiveness and conducting deep research on health plan priorities and state policy changes to identify high-value engagement opportunities
- Sourcing, tracking, and nurturing a robust pipeline of health plan opportunities, with emphasis on large national payers and deal velocity
- Architecting high-stakes presentation materials for strategic partnerships that resonate with health plan stakeholders across leadership levels
- Advocating for prospect needs internally and leading cross-functional projects critical to growth, working closely with Partnerships and Marketing teams
- Developing pricing models and collaborating with legal/compliance on contracting processes
You bring 4+ years of client-facing or analytical experience (management consulting strongly preferred) and 3+ years of healthcare experience specifically with health plans. You are a strategic problem-solver with strong project management capabilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and exceptional executive-level communication skills. Bonus experience includes client relationship ownership, health plan sales, and work at technology-enabled services companies or with value-based care models.
