This Senior Manager role reports to the VP of Corporate Affairs and spans corporate positioning, media relations, B2B and B2C communications, investor relations, thought leadership, executive profiling, and reputation management. You will be a strategic partner to Coda's leadership, translating business priorities into compelling positioning for audiences critical to growth and reputation. Key responsibilities include: **Corporate Positioning & Strategy**: Shape and evolve Coda's corporate narrative across markets and products. Develop clear positioning for corporate, B2B, B2C, and investor audiences grounded in business strategy and digital commerce ecosystem positioning. Work closely with Commercial, Government Relations, and Marketing teams to connect business priorities with external industry conversations. **Media Relations**: Own proactive media relations with focus on financial, business, and technology media. Maintain strong relationships with senior journalists and editors at leading international and regional publications, particularly in Singapore and Asia. Identify credible stories, secure meaningful coverage and interviews, and maintain a pipeline of stories across corporate developments, partnerships, financial milestones, and executive commentary. Lead media strategy around major announcements. **Audience-Specific Communications**: Develop tailored communications for B2B audiences (publishers, digital businesses, partners), B2C audiences (consumer businesses), and investor/financial audiences. Ensure narratives resonate while reinforcing consistent Coda messaging. **Executive Leadership Support**: Provide communications counsel to senior leaders on business, corporate, and reputational matters. Shape distinctive external profiles for executives with clear areas of authority. Identify and secure high-quality opportunities across media, conferences, and industry forums. Prepare executives for interviews and major engagements with messaging, speeches, and briefing materials. **Thought Leadership**: Turn Coda's expertise and market experience into strong points of view on digital commerce, payments, gaming, and technology. Lead development of research, white papers, opinion pieces, and executive content. Work with Commercial and Government Relations to identify emerging trends where Coda can contribute credibly. **AI-Enabled Content Production**: Lead the Corporate Affairs workstream on using AI to streamline content production. Introduce practical AI workflows across research, synthesis, drafting, content adaptation, and media intelligence. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and increase team capacity for strategic work. Stay current on emerging AI tools and establish quality control standards. **Internal Communications & Talent Brand**: Partner with People & Talent and CEO's Office on internal communications and talent brand initiatives. Support communications around major company developments and leadership changes. Strengthen Coda's talent brand and connect internal and external narratives. **Corporate Communications Leadership**: Lead communications around significant company developments, partnerships, and regulatory milestones. Develop comprehensive communications strategies across audiences and channels. Support reputation and issues management with strong judgment on sensitive matters. **Requirements**: - Strong existing relationships with financial, business, and technology journalists, particularly in Singapore and Asia; international relationships highly valued - Proven track record of securing high-quality earned media through strong relationships, compelling stories, and editorial judgment - Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to make complex subjects clear and interesting - Strong experience developing corporate and business positioning across B2B, B2C, investor, and corporate audiences - Track record in executive profiling and thought leadership - Experience communicating business strategy, performance, and growth to sophisticated corporate and financial audiences - Strong commercial awareness and curiosity about business growth - Understanding of intersection between business, regulation, policy, and reputation - Excellent judgment on sensitive corporate, regulatory, and reputational issues - Confidence working directly with senior executives and providing constructive counsel - Ability to work effectively across Commercial, Government Relations, Marketing, People & Talent, and other functions - Strong ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities across markets and time zones - Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution - International outlook with strong interest in technology, payments, gaming, and digital commerce - **Strong AI capability is essential**: Must be a highly capable user of generative AI tools with demonstrated experience optimizing workflows. Should use AI intelligently across research, synthesis, content creation, workflow automation, and communications intelligence. Must be naturally curious about new capabilities, comfortable experimenting with tools, and able to translate them into practical improvements for a high-performing communications team.
