Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global financial institutions—banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. The platform unifies communications and trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management, and front-office analytics on a single AI-native SaaS stack, delivered globally at scale. The Senior Manager, FP&A reports to the Chief Operating Officer and owns the financial planning and analysis function for a global business generating over $50M in revenue with a growth trajectory toward $200M over the next three years. This role establishes the planning calendar, forecasting methodology, and management reporting cadence, running them with limited direction across a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environment. You will be accountable for the annual budget, re-forecast, and management reporting that the CEO and COO plan against. You will serve as the primary analytical partner to functional leaders and work in close partnership with strategic finance. You translate operating plans, pipeline, and headcount plans from Sales, RevOps, and People into controlled financial outputs, and explain performance against plan in terms leaders can act on. You own the integrity of the company's planning models. While deal origination, valuation, and financing analysis sit outside core FP&A, every completed acquisition must be absorbed into the operating plan, forecast, and reporting baseline you own. The two functions work together from diligence onward so that deal assumptions survive into the model the company plans against. You will lead the FP&A team and be accountable for output quality, operating model, and capacity to scale with the business. A key mandate is to make FP&A AI-native: each planning and reporting cycle must become faster, more accurate, and better controlled through automation and AI-enabled workflows, within the systems and control framework governing the wider finance function. Key responsibilities include: leading the FP&A team by owning model responsibilities, planning calendar, review controls, documentation, data flows, hiring, coaching, and role design; owning the annual budget and re-forecast cadence end-to-end by establishing assumptions with functional leaders and translating inputs into controlled pipeline-to-revenue bridges, personnel and non-personnel budgets, commission forecasts, opex, and capex; building, maintaining, and reviewing operating plan, forecast, cash-flow, scenario, and acquisition-integration models; driving the management reporting cycle and financial analysis for board and investor packs by translating variance to plan into operational drivers; and driving automation and AI-enabled workflows by redesigning data collection, plan consolidation, variance analysis, and report production. The role is hybrid (1 day in office) based in Montreal, with modern offices in Toronto and Montreal available. REQUIREMENTS: - Expertise in driver-based forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, investment analysis, and financial model architecture with knowledge of design principles that keep models auditable, maintainable, and able to absorb new entities without rebuilding - Knowledge of revenue, pipeline, and commission economics including bookings, recurring revenue, renewals, pipeline conversion, revenue recognition timing, and commission plan mechanics - Knowledge of headcount, cost, and cash planning including personnel planning and costing, non-personnel opex, capex, cost allocation, and FX exposure and entity-level cost flows in multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environments - Knowledge of management and board reporting including KPI design, variance analysis, management reporting structure, and board and investor pack conventions - Knowledge of FP&A systems, data, and automation including planning tools, data flows from finance/CRM/HR systems, workflow automation, and AI-enabled analysis - Demonstrated ability to lead and scale FP&A teams while maintaining consistent output quality - Experience managing planning processes across multiple geographies and currencies
