Savvy Wealth is a Series C fintech company reinventing wealth management for independent financial advisors. The company operates as a registered investment advisor (RIA) partnering with experienced advisors, providing them with a modern, AI-native platform, marketing support, investment management, and back-office operations. Savvy has raised $200M, employs 170+ people, and is on track for $100M ARR in 2026. Inc. ranked Savvy the No. 1 fastest-growing financial services company in America in 2026.
The Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Data will own the design and implementation of systems and automation solutions across the Finance organization. This is an individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Operations. The role focuses on uncovering AI use cases in finance, architecting automation infrastructure for revenue reporting, billing, cash flow, and financial reporting, and ensuring complete visibility into invoicing, collections, and revenue flow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing process breaks (timing, data gaps, manual matching) and redesigning workflows so reconciliations close predictably with automated matching and exception reporting.
- Owning data integrity across Finance systems: custodian exports, CRM, billing, CPQ, commissions, payments, and ERP.
- Establishing and reporting on reconciliation health metrics (unreconciled balance, aged variances, time to close).
- Ensuring pricing, quoting, and commission data tie cleanly to billing and revenue recognition.
- Replacing high-cost manual workflows with durable automation using AI tools, scripting, SQL, or configuration.
- Serving as Finance's primary partner to the Data team: defining requirements, prioritizing requests, and seeing work through deployment.
- Evaluating new tools and system changes as the company scales, building business cases for investment.
- Designing controls, access permissions, and audit trails for financial data.
- Documenting system architecture, data flows, and processes to prevent institutional knowledge silos.
- Supporting audit requests related to systems, reconciliations, and automated controls.
Savvy's Finance team is small but operates at scale through AI adoption. Team members build most of their own tools (payout engines, reconciliation workflows, reporting, agents for recurring analysis) and prioritize AI-native finance platforms over legacy systems. The expectation is that when problems arise, the first approach is identifying how AI can solve it, with human oversight for money-moving decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years in Finance, Finance Operations, RevOps, BizOps, or highly analytical function within fintech. Startup experience and/or AI implementation experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of AI and data infrastructure frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Fluent in scripting (e.g., Python), SQL, and advanced Excel/Sheets.
- Experience stitching data across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, payment platforms, internal databases).
- Track record building or significantly improving financial reporting, reconciliation, or revenue data systems.
- Deeply analytical with comfort working large, complex datasets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in financial environments where accuracy is critical.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Self-directed, proactively identifying structural problems before being asked.
- Feeling constrained by red-tape and approvals; motivated to test new processes and automations.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in wealth management, fintech, or custodial billing environments.
- Familiarity with Rillet, Campfire, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Salesforce, or financial system migrations.
- Experience building data models for board-level or investor reporting.
- Experience supporting audit processes or designing financial controls.
