Dandy is transforming the dental industry (a $400B+ market) through technology, building an operating system for dental practices globally. The company is backed by leading venture capital firms and is rapidly expanding.
You will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Dandy's core finance systems, reporting to the Head of Finance Systems. Your initial focus will be on the NetSuite environment, expanding over time to encompass Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes. You will be both hands-on with system configuration and process improvement, and will manage technical resources to deliver complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the structure and vision for a high-performing Finance Systems function, including roles, responsibilities, and growth paths as the team expands
- Design, build, and optimize processes, methodologies, and tools for NetSuite and other finance systems across the organization
- Establish and enforce best practices for system configuration, data integrity, user management, security, testing, and deployment
- Manage and guide technical resources (internal or external) responsible for NetSuite SuiteScript development, API integrations, and other technical requirements
- Foster a data-driven culture within Finance, leveraging system capabilities for reporting and analysis to support accurate reporting and efficient decision-making

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience managing or leading projects within finance systems, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced, growth environment
- 7+ years of experience working with core finance systems, with deep functional and process knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement
- Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, administration, and ideally a working understanding of SuiteScript and integrations
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Experience implementing new finance systems or significantly scaling existing ones to support growing business needs
- Ability to define long-term vision for finance systems while implementing tactical changes; comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on involvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Engineering, Operations) and translating complex system issues into actionable insights for non-technical teams
- Experience designing and implementing processes that drive rigor, consistency, and efficiency across finance workflows
Bonus qualifications: experience in mid-sized high-growth companies, NetSuite Administrator certification, manufacturing company background, experience with other Procure-to-Pay/Order-to-Cash/Record-to-Report systems, managing both internal and external technical resources, or data visualization tools (Looker, Hex).
