Boston Scientific's Rhythm Solutions division seeks a Senior Manager, Field Scientific Affairs to lead strategic scientific initiatives in cardiovascular medicine, specifically electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. This remote role bridges clinical science and commercial strategy, requiring you to engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals on clinical outcomes, product differentiation, and emerging research. You will synthesize field-based clinical insights to inform evidence planning and strategic decisions, independently review clinical trial and real-world data, and communicate complex scientific information to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining trusted relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and clinical investigators; identifying unmet clinical needs and scientific gaps; facilitating investigator-sponsored research submissions; supporting site identification and enrollment for Boston Scientific-sponsored trials; and partnering cross-functionally with Clinical, Marketing, R&D, Medical Education, and Compliance teams. You will gather stakeholder insights to identify emerging trends and translate them into recommendations influencing clinical, scientific, and business decisions. The role demands strong clinical acumen, executive presence in discussing clinical data and disease trends, strategic thinking, project leadership, and the ability to manage competing priorities and extensive travel (up to 75% domestically). Required: minimum 10 years in medical device industry (clinical, scientific communications, Medical Affairs, medical education, R&D, medical sales, or field clinical engineering preferred) OR minimum 6 years of clinical practice in a relevant specialty (Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Cardiovascular Medicine). Demonstrated communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to travel extensively with mobile/cloud-based work capability. Preferred: advanced degree (DNP, PA, PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MSc, MS, MHA, M.Bus, MASc) and demonstrated clinical/scientific background in cardiology.
