Salary: USD 105,000 - 115,000 / annual
Blackbird Health, a clinician-founded and operated pediatric mental health provider, is seeking a Senior Manager of Facilities and New Office Launch to lead physical footprint expansion across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, and new markets launching in 2027.
You will own end-to-end execution of new clinic openings, from site selection through post-launch stabilization, while directing regional facilities operations and building scalable systems. This hybrid role is based in the Philadelphia metro area with regular onsite travel to clinic locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive end-to-end clinic launches from site selection through Day 1 patient readiness, establishing operational frameworks and leading post-launch reviews to refine the expansion playbook
- Orchestrate cross-functional partners (Real Estate, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Leadership, IT, Marketing, Revenue Cycle) to align provider hiring, credentialing, patient scheduling, and site setup for on-time launches
- Direct ongoing facilities operations, preventative maintenance, safety standards, and clinic refreshes across all established locations, establishing clear SLAs and vendor performance expectations
- Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of regional Facilities Coordinators while overseeing asset standards (FF&E, signage, supplies) and operational budgets to support long-term expansion
- Identify and mitigate site risks, vendor delays, and budget bottlenecks to keep launches on schedule
Blackbird delivers virtual and in-person mental health services using a whole-child approach that addresses root causes by examining how the brain, body, and behavior interact.
Requirements:
- 7+ years managing multi-site facilities, new store/clinic launches, or retail/healthcare operations expansion
- Track record of successfully managing end-to-end new site launches and vendor contracts
- Direct experience managing and developing operational staff
- Willingness to travel regularly across regional clinic locations
Nice to have:
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health clinic expansion
- Direct experience with commercial real estate leases, local permitting, or ADA compliance
