You will be deeply embedded in the SEC rulemaking process, serving as a key stakeholder in shaping how Coinbase navigates the evolving U.S. securities regulatory landscape. Your expertise will directly influence product strategy, legal compliance, and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

- Deep understanding of the SEC rulemaking process and Administrative Procedure Act, with demonstrated experience drafting or responding to public rulemaking comments.
- Substantive expertise in either trading market structure or securities issuance and corporate finance mechanics, with the ability to apply that knowledge to active digital asset rule proposals.
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory text into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams, with direct experience briefing senior executives and external regulators on policy implications.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
