Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute stack to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. This Senior Manager role owns demand planning and market economics for the rapidly expanding AI compute market.
You will size the total addressable market for AI compute by analyzing buyer behavior, consumption patterns, and industry trends. You'll assess whether global data center and power supply can actually support stated demand, not just paper projections. You'll build and maintain long-term forecasts for AI compute and power capacity demand, incorporating market dynamics, product mix, signed contracts, and renewal/churn assumptions. You'll track how customer segment mix shifts over time and what that means for business strategy.
Key responsibilities include recommending the optimal mix of colocation, fully owned builds, and modular deployments across different customer segments and demand profiles—feeding these recommendations into capital allocation and investment decisions. You'll develop pricing forecast models using signals like demand volatility, ramp timing, and supply-chain constraints, then track forecast accuracy and explain variances. You'll build the financial case for build-ahead versus build-to-order tradeoffs at the portfolio level.
You'll synthesize external market and competitive intelligence with internal deal-level data to create a canonical market view. Your work will directly inform the CFO, Board, and executive team on strategic capital decisions that will shape the business for years. You'll turn complex market dynamics into clear, defensible narratives that drive senior-level decision-making.
You bring 7+ years in demand planning, supply/capacity planning, or quantitative finance, ideally in cloud infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or other capital-intensive, forecast-driven businesses. You have strong financial modeling skills and can build credible market views with incomplete data. You're proficient with statistical forecasting tools (time series, regression, scenario modeling) and can synthesize external and internal data sources. You communicate exceptionally well, turning numbers into narratives that influence executives. A Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Math, or related field is required; an MBA or Master's in Analytics is a plus. Domain expertise in AI infrastructure and SQL/BigQuery experience are bonuses.
