You will be the first dedicated Senior Manager of Demand Generation, owning the full demand function at a Series A company preparing for scale. This is a hands-on, builder role where you will set strategy and execute—designing workflows, writing sequences, and reading dashboards alongside strategic planning.
Key responsibilities:
**Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution**
- Own the demand generation plan and calendar across the product portfolio
- Design and run persona-based campaigns for health system buying committees, including audience builds, messaging variants, and email sequences
- Own paid media strategy and execution (LinkedIn, Google, etc.), evaluating channel performance and making scaling decisions
- Build nurture infrastructure and email programs moving accounts from awareness to sales-ready
- Partner with content marketing to program existing content and ideate new content supporting campaign strategy
**Account-Based Marketing**
- Own the ABM program end-to-end: ICP and tiering framework, target account list hygiene, account-level engagement tracking, and campaign execution at scale
- Maintain account tagging (ICP fit, tier, target status) across HubSpot and Salesforce; keep the target account list current
- Lead ABM platform evaluation and selection as needed
**Marketing Operations & Measurement**
- Own marketing operations outright, transitioning from consultant-built foundation to in-house ownership
- Administer HubSpot as the marketing system of record: workflows, forms, progressive profiling, lists, lifecycle automation, compliance workflows
- Partner with Sales to maintain bidirectional sync, lead-to-account matching, routing, and Salesforce Campaign setup
- Maintain UTM and campaign taxonomy standards across all channels
- Own campaign and pipeline reporting: marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, account-level dashboards, channel performance; evolve attribution from last-touch to multi-touch
**Sales Alignment**
- Own the marketing-to-sales handoff: MQL definition, lead scoring, prioritization, SLAs, and reporting on marketing's pipeline contribution
- Run regular cadence with Sales and Customer Success to review account engagement, agree on plays for priority accounts, and close the loop on conversions
**Events & Conferences**
- Build pre-event, at-event, and post-event campaign motions for the conference calendar (ACC Quality Summit, ACS Quality and Safety Conference, IHI Forum, HLTH), including target-account mapping and follow-up sequencing
**Vendors & Tooling**
- Manage demand gen and marketing ops contractors and vendors; own the roadmap for enrichment, intent, and AI-assisted tooling
**Requirements**
- 6–10 years in B2B demand generation, with at least 3 years running integrated, account-based programs
- Healthcare or health IT experience selling into hospitals and health systems strongly preferred; experience with long, committee-driven enterprise sales cycles required
- Deep hands-on fluency in HubSpot (marketing automation, workflows, reporting) and strong working knowledge of Salesforce campaigns, lead routing, and attribution
- Proven experience building or substantially rebuilding a marketing-to-sales handoff; comfortable being the marketing ops administrator
- Proven paid media ownership on LinkedIn, Google, or similar platforms, including audience strategy, creative testing, and budget management against pipeline targets
- Comfortable with messaging discipline: can take defined positioning and lexicon, write persona-specific copy, and know when claims need sources
- Builder's instinct and startup pace; comfortable configuring workflows and presenting pipeline reviews; does not wait for a team to exist before getting things done
- Analytical and honest with data; separates proven from projected and communicates the distinction
- Strong partnership skills with Sales; sees pipeline as a shared number
