Dandy is transforming the dental industry (a $400B+ market) through technology, building an operating system for dental practices globally. The company is backed by leading venture capital firms and is on an ambitious mission to modernize every function of dental practices.
You will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Dandy's core finance systems, reporting to the Head of Finance Systems. Your initial focus will be on the NetSuite environment, with scope expanding to encompass Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes. You will be both hands-on with system configuration and process improvement, and will manage technical resources to deliver complex solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shaping the Finance Systems function, defining structure, vision, roles, responsibilities, and growth paths as the team expands
- Creating scalable solutions by defining, building, and optimizing processes, methodologies, and tools for NetSuite and other finance systems across the organization
- Implementing best practices for system configuration, data integrity, user management, security, testing, and deployment
- Managing technical resources (internal or external) responsible for NetSuite SuiteScript development, API integrations, and other technical requirements
- Fostering a data-driven culture within Finance by advocating for data-driven insights and ensuring the Finance team has the data needed for accurate reporting, analysis, and decision-making

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience managing or leading projects within finance systems, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced, growth environment
- 7+ years of experience working with core finance systems, with deep functional and process knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement
- Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, administration, and ideally a working understanding of SuiteScript and integrations
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Experience implementing new finance systems or significantly scaling existing ones to support growing business needs
- Ability to define long-term vision for finance systems while implementing tactical changes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Engineering, and Operations
- Experience designing and implementing processes that drive rigor, consistency, and efficiency across finance workflows
BONUS: NetSuite Administrator certification, experience in mid-sized high-growth companies, manufacturing company background, experience with other Procure-to-Pay/Order to Cash/Record to Report systems, managing both internal and external technical resources, data visualization tools (Looker, Hex).
