Zocdoc is a healthcare marketplace that empowers patients by making it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care across all 50 states, 200+ specialties, and 12,000+ insurance plans. As Senior Manager of Business Development, you will own the creation, management, and growth of strategic partnerships critical to Zocdoc's expansion, with an initial focus on distribution partnerships.
You will manage the complete partner lifecycle from ideation through execution, serving as the primary business owner and go-to contact for a portfolio of strategic partners. Your responsibilities include initiating and negotiating new partnerships, managing ongoing partner relationships, monitoring performance metrics, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing commercial outcomes. You'll lead recurring partner business reviews and strategic check-ins to assess performance, align on goals, and identify improvement areas.
This role requires coordinating cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, legal, analytics, sales, and leadership teams. You'll be analytically minded, comfortable translating performance insights into actionable strategies, and skilled at negotiating mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing partnerships with large companies, driving measurable growth through external relationships, and thinking strategically about complex business issues. You should be personally motivated by owning projects from start to finish, skilled at building internal and external networks, and passionate about identifying creative, scalable partnership opportunities that align with long-term business goals.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development.
