- Deep working knowledge of deposit and lending operations: ACH, wires, checks, in-clearing, account funding, reconciliations, GL impacts, exception management, loan funding, boarding, and loan purchase/sale settlement.
- Demonstrated ability to design and operate effective controls: segregation of duties, approval authorities, reconciliations, access management, QA, issue management, recordkeeping, and audit/regulatory-examination support.
- Strong understanding of bank regulatory and risk expectations for deposit, lending, payments, third-party, consumer-protection, privacy, business-continuity, and operational-resilience activities.
- Proven success managing critical technology and operations vendors, service levels, incidents, root-cause analysis, remediation, and executive escalations.
- Excellent judgment, analytical problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills; ability to translate between banking operations, customer experience, product, technology, risk, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience building a de novo bank, launching a new bank or digital-banking program, or completing a core conversion strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience expected; SQL, data pipelines, and BI tools familiarity a plus.
- Willingness to provide periodic after-hours support for releases, cutovers, material incidents, and business-continuity events.
