Salary: USD 190,000 - 225,000 / annual

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will own first-principles ML problems that haven't been solved before. You'll build production ML models for claim time series forecasting and NLP text understanding, working on genuinely novel challenges rather than incremental improvements. Key responsibilities include: - Building and deploying ML models for production use in insurance claims - Conducting in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify ML opportunities and data issues - Designing, training, and evaluating models with rigorous methodology - Implementing new features to improve model performance and business logic - Writing and reviewing production-quality code daily - Translating client business problems into ML problems - Working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets You should have 2+ years as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist in highly scalable production environments. Deep expertise required in Python, Pandas, Jupyter, and ML tech stacks (sklearn, Keras/PyTorch, tuning frameworks). Strong written and verbal communication skills to work across technical and non-technical audiences are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with Dagster, BigQuery, Vertex AI, GCP, Terraform, Spark, Kubernetes, model-serving pipelines in production, probabilistic programming, and Claude Code tools. Compensation: $190-225K base salary plus annual bonus and RSUs.
