Parallel Domain builds a platform for validating autonomous systems and Physical AI in high-fidelity virtual environments before real-world deployment. The rendering pipeline is critical to the platform's credibility, delivering physically defensible, reproducible, and performant output for machine perception—a different discipline than rendering for human eyes.
You'll join a small, specialized graphics team as a Senior Linux Graphics Engineer, leading cross-platform rendering work as a senior individual contributor. Your initial charter is a substantial Linux and Vulkan migration of the renderer, owned end-to-end from early build through production quality. This is a greenfield opportunity to architect and execute a major technical initiative that will modernize the rendering stack.
Beyond the migration, you'll continue as a core member of the graphics team, collaborating on the harder problems in the pipeline: wide-angle rendering, scene reconstruction, lighting optimization, and GPU performance tuning. The stack is rooted in real-time game engine technology and runs at scale in the cloud, so you'll work across both graphics techniques and the platforms/APIs that deliver them.
This role is ideal for a graphics engineer with deep Linux and Vulkan expertise, a track record of shipping complex rendering systems, and the ability to own substantial technical projects independently. You should be comfortable with the unique constraints of rendering for machine perception—reproducibility, physical accuracy, and performance under cloud-scale conditions.
