OneStream is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal team, covering multiple jurisdictions across EMEA. This is a hybrid role based in London or Manchester.
You will be a senior commercial transactions lawyer specializing in software, SaaS, and professional services agreements. You will partner closely with Sales teams to draft, review, and negotiate high-value, strategically important SaaS agreements and ancillary documents including Data Protection terms, security terms, codes of conduct, and DORA addendums. You will be involved in the sales cycle from early stages, helping Sales shape complex transactions and interacting directly with customers, prospects, and internal departments across the full contracting lifecycle from NDA to termination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, software license, and professional services agreements for the EMEA region
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and ad hoc documents
- Provide contract interpretation support to Sales, Deal Desk, and Customer Success teams
- Conduct legal research on SaaS, software, and professional services issues across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead or contribute to Legal team projects including template development and cross-functional initiatives
You will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple time zones and interacting with C-level executives. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to digest complex information quickly and make well-reasoned decisions. You should be a self-starter comfortable collaborating with Legal team members and other departments, with fluency in standard business tools such as Salesforce, Docusign, and contract management systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with current practicing certificate
- 5+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) with at least 2 years specializing in software, SaaS, and professional services agreements
- Fluent English language skills
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in Europe
- Solid knowledge of Data Protection laws, specifically GDPR
- Legal authorization to work in the UK without sponsorship
PREFERRED:
- Additional European language and legal qualification
- Demonstrated ability to quickly digest complex information and make informed decisions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills adaptable to various situations
- Comfort in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Docusign, and contract management systems
