As Legal Counsel, you will support Fever's global operations with a primary focus on APAC (Asia-Pacific) markets. Based at Fever's headquarters in Madrid, Spain, you will provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, compliance, and dispute resolution matters. This is a hands-on role requiring proactivity and autonomy in a fast-paced environment undergoing ambitious regional expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in APAC and common law markets
- Working with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver corporate, commercial, compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution support
- Staying current on legislative and jurisprudence developments in the region
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritize and manage complex legal matters
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, terms and conditions across multiple jurisdictions
- Contributing to company knowledge by preparing and revising legal templates and guides
- Prioritizing work based on company strategy and objectives
- Supporting the upskilling and growth of other team members

REQUIREMENTS:
- Barred or practicing lawyer in Australia or New Zealand with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in top-tier law firms or in-house experience at a large-scale multinational
- Demonstrable experience working on pan-Asia projects with familiarity of business cultures across the region
- Fluent English with working proficiency in another language relevant to the market
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex legal issues into business outcomes
- Strong technical legal skills
- Effective communicator with emotional intelligence
- Willingness to relocate to Madrid (flexible timing available)
