As Legal Counsel, you will join Fever's legal team at the Madrid headquarters, reporting directly to the Lead Counsel. This role focuses on supporting Fever's operations worldwide with emphasis on Nordic countries. You will provide day-to-day legal support on corporate and operationally relevant matters, enabling the company's ambitious regional expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in the Nordics
- Working with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver corporate, commercial, compliance, and litigation/disputes support
- Staying current on legislative and jurisprudence developments in the region
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritize and manage complex legal matters
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, terms and conditions across multiple jurisdictions
- Contributing to company knowledge through preparation and revision of legal templates and guides
- Prioritizing work based on company strategy and objectives
- Supporting the upskilling and growth of other team members
The role is based in Madrid with home office flexibility. You will be expected to relocate to Madrid if not currently based there, with possible travel across Fever's markets.
Requirements:
- Barred/practising European lawyer with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in one or more Nordic jurisdictions
- Experience working in top-tier law firms or in-house at a large-scale multinational
- Fluent English; fluent French or German required; additional language a strong plus
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex legal issues into business outcomes and opportunities
- Strong technical legal skills
- Effective communicator with emotional intelligence
- Proactive, autonomous, and driven approach to work
