Salary: USD 195,000 - 225,000 / annual

Harry's, the #2 shave brand globally and part of Mammoth Brands (a modern CPG company behind category-leading brands including Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie), is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as a strategic legal and business partner to the Enterprise function. The role supports Finance, People, Technology, and Mammoth Labs (M&A) teams, advising on a broad range of corporate, operational, and commercial matters. You will provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice that enables the business to move quickly while appropriately managing risk. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Legal, Enterprise. Key responsibilities include: - Serve as a key business partner and advisor to Enterprise leadership and stakeholders - Advise on, negotiate, and draft complex corporate and commercial agreements, balancing legal risk with business priorities - Drive legal workstreams supporting M&A, Finance, and strategic transactions, investments, and financings - Advise on technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related matters, including commercial arrangements and emerging legal and regulatory issues - Advise the People team on employment-related legal matters - Develop and maintain company policies and procedures - Provide or oversee training to Enterprise stakeholders on pertinent legal topics Mammoth Brands operates on a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at their 70,000 sq ft SoHo office in New York, with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays. The team prioritizes AI fluency and experimentation in day-to-day work. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and J.D.; admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including significant in-house experience - Strong judgment and ability to provide risk-calibrated, business-focused legal advice in a fast-moving environment - Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and address over-the-horizon risks - Proven ability to build trusted relationships and foster collaboration with cross-functional partners - Clear and effective communicator who can translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance - Experience advising across a broad range of legal matters: corporate, commercial, employment, and data privacy - Comfort using AI-enabled legal tools and interest in leveraging technology to improve legal work quality and efficiency
