The Director of Legal - US Commercial will lead legal strategy and operations for Sonar's US commercial business. This role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to commercial operations, including contract negotiation, compliance, risk management, and legal governance. The Director will manage a legal team, set legal strategy aligned with business objectives, and serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on legal and regulatory matters affecting the US commercial business.
Key responsibilities include: managing commercial contracts and negotiations; ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations; identifying and mitigating legal risks; providing counsel on business transactions and partnerships; overseeing intellectual property matters related to commercial operations; managing litigation and dispute resolution; and building and leading a high-performing legal team.
