You'll join the Identity engineering team (Signup, Authentication, KYC), which sits at the critical front door of the product—handling millions of customer onboardings and identity verifications annually. This team is modernizing fragmented iOS experiences while consolidating the mobile stack.
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll own the technical evolution of the team's iOS identity flows end-to-end: from architectural design through release to production monitoring. You'll work alongside engineering managers, staff engineers, and cross-functional partners in product, design, and compliance to raise the technical bar across architecture, test coverage, CI/CD, and release practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and shipping production-grade iOS features in Swift that customers depend on for secure money transfers
- Strengthening the testing strategy and delivery pipeline, treating build/test/release automation as a product with its own reliability bar
- Evolving a large, long-lived codebase with modular architecture at scale, managing dependency boundaries under delivery pressure
- Mentoring engineers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance
- Driving systematic diagnostics using profiling and instrumentation
- Owning on-device security fundamentals in a heavily regulated, compliance-sensitive environment
- Communicating clearly through design documents and post-mortems that stakeholders can act on
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years shipping production iOS apps to the App Store with deep Swift expertise
- Expert-level experience with reactive, stream-based state management and asynchronous data flow at scale
- Strong grasp of modern structured concurrency with experience introducing it incrementally into established codebases
- Track record evolving large codebases with modular architecture; treating build performance as an engineering concern
- Rigorous, layered testing strategy (unit, integration, end-to-end); designing for testability
- Genuine ownership of delivery pipelines (build, test, release automation)
- Solid command of on-device security: credential storage, biometric/in-app auth, session/token lifecycle
- Experience in regulated/high-compliance environments (fintech, healthtech, etc.)
- Systematic diagnostic skills and comfort with profiling/instrumentation
- Clear written communication for design docs and post-mortems
- Confidence with open-ended, ambiguous problems
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising team standards
- Instinct for customer impact and data-driven decision-making
