Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is a leading global investor in utility-scale renewable energy assets, managing a portfolio exceeding £7 billion across wind, solar, offshore wind, energy storage, and hydrogen projects. The company is rapidly expanding its Asia operations, which launched in 2023 and now manages mandates across five countries from the Singapore hub.
You will join the Singapore-based investment team as a Senior Investment Manager, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing renewable energy asset investments across the Asia-Pacific region. This role focuses on deal origination and execution in solar, onshore and offshore wind, energy storage, and adjacent energy transition technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in renewable energy across Asia
- Leading deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiation with project developers and asset owners
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and government entities
- Supporting portfolio management and performance monitoring of existing assets
- Contributing to strategy development for regional expansion
You bring 7+ years of experience in energy infrastructure, renewable energy investment, or related sectors. You have demonstrated success closing complex, multi-jurisdictional deals in emerging or growth markets. Strong technical knowledge of solar, wind, and energy storage technologies is essential. You are comfortable navigating regulatory environments across multiple Asian markets and have established networks in the region. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required.
