Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Inside Systems Engineer to join its Systems Engineering team in Australia/New Zealand. This hybrid role combines pre-sales technical expertise with inside sales support, positioning you as a critical bridge between Veeam's product capabilities and customer/partner needs.
You will work closely with the Inside Sales department to inform, educate, and evangelize Veeam's data protection, cyber resilience, and data intelligence solutions. Your responsibilities include delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to varying levels of decision-makers, managing proof-of-concepts to closure, and providing pre-sales technical advisory support. Key activities include delivering web-based and occasional on-site demonstrations, implementing and managing POCs, responding to technical queries and RFPs, providing technical account management for SMB and mid-market customers, tracking activities in Salesforce, collecting customer feedback for product teams, and creating technical presentations and training materials. You'll also support lead generation through events, webinars, and user groups, and stay current with Veeam product developments and industry trends.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, eager to grow a presales career, and motivated to become a Veeam evangelist while providing exceptional technical expertise. You'll have the flexibility to work from home or hybrid arrangements across Australia/New Zealand territories, with occasional regional travel (up to 15%).
