Nimble operates a large-scale proxy network serving billions of requests globally, supporting residential, ISP, mobile, and datacenter proxies with advanced features like rotation, geo-targeting, and IP reputation management. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in proxy networks, you will design, build, and own core proxy and networking infrastructure from the ground up rather than configuring existing systems. You will work across multiple layers of the technology stack: proxy protocols and networking fundamentals, browser internals and compatibility, and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS). The role requires deep technical expertise to design systems, debug issues across all layers, and make architectural decisions that impact billions of requests daily. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing proxy infrastructure components, optimizing network performance and reliability, managing IP rotation and geo-targeting systems, designing cloud infrastructure to support massive scale, debugging complex networking and proxy-related issues, and mentoring other engineers on infrastructure best practices. You should have strong experience with networking protocols, proxy systems (HTTP/HTTPS, SOCKS, residential proxy concepts), Kubernetes and containerized deployments, cloud platforms (particularly AWS), and systems-level debugging. Experience with high-scale distributed systems, IP management, or residential proxy networks is highly valuable. You combine breadth across infrastructure domains with genuine depth in networking and proxy technologies.
