1Kosmos BlockID is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to lead enterprise deployments of its passwordless authentication and identity verification platform. This hands-on technical role bridges customer success and engineering, requiring deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM), single sign-on (SSO), federation protocols, and modern authentication standards.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end customer implementations from discovery and architecture design through production deployment. You will conduct technical workshops with customer architects, security teams, and infrastructure teams; develop implementation plans and migration strategies; and serve as the primary technical lead during onboarding and rollouts. The role involves managing multiple concurrent customer implementations while maintaining delivery excellence.
Technical focus areas include designing and implementing SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, and WS-Federation; integrating with enterprise identity providers (Microsoft Entra ID, PingFederate, Okta, ADFS, ForgeRock); deploying passwordless authentication solutions (FIDO2, passkeys, WebAuthn, certificate-based auth); and integrating with enterprise infrastructure (Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, SIEM platforms, MFA solutions). You will also develop automation scripts and REST API integrations using Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
Required qualifications: 9+ years of hands-on IAM/SSO/federation implementation experience; 5+ years implementing enterprise authentication solutions; proven ability to lead customer-facing technical implementations and manage complex deployments with multiple stakeholders. Strong technical expertise required in SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, Active Directory, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, passwordless authentication, PKI, REST APIs, JSON, and XML. Programming experience in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Bash is essential.
Within 12 months, success means leading successful 1Kosmos deployments across enterprise customers, delivering seamless SSO integrations, enabling customer transitions to phishing-resistant passwordless authentication, becoming a trusted IAM advisor, and consistently achieving high customer satisfaction scores.
