Klaviyo's GTM Systems team owns the operational infrastructure connecting marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success. The GTM Systems Partner team is a small group of technical builders responsible for the Salesforce platform and its integrations across the full GTM stack, including lead routing, lifecycle management, an external-facing partner portal, and integrations with partner management and payment systems.
As a Senior Systems Engineer on this team, you will own enterprise systems end-to-end—from understanding business processes to engineering solutions to measuring impact. You'll own delivery, platform health, and code quality across the GTM stack, including the external-facing partner portal. This is a high-craft, high-ownership role for someone who wants to write great code, drive quality standards, and see their work translate directly to business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own delivery of Salesforce solutions (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, integrations) from sprint planning through deployment, applying engineering best practices and maintaining high code quality standards through GitHub-based pull request reviews.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and the broader GTM stack, ensuring reliable and secure data flows while prioritizing access and permission governance.
- Triage and resolve high-impact platform and data issues quickly, owning technical fixes and communicating status clearly to stakeholders.
- Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow to ship faster, explore unfamiliar systems, and automate repetitive work.
- Partner with the Product Owner and Architect during story refinement to size work accurately, surface technical constraints early, and ensure stories are ready for sprint planning.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, engineering standards, and pairing, accelerating the team's shift to professional-grade, git-based development practices.
This role requires strong Salesforce expertise, integration experience, and a commitment to code quality and mentorship.
