Thoropass is an audit-first compliance platform that helps organizations achieve and maintain compliance certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST). Founded in 2019 and headquartered in New York, the company is backed by leading investors including J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, and Bain Capital, with a global team across 18+ countries. As Senior GRC Partnerships Manager, you will own the day-to-day management of Thoropass's compliance automation and GRC platform partnerships across the full customer base, from early-stage startups through mid-market and enterprise. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, you will transform strategic agreements into living, working partnerships with healthy referral flow in both directions, aligned teams, and excellent experiences for both partners and mutual customers. You will serve as the connective tissue between partners and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, BDR, Audit, Product), pushing internally where needed, brokering relationships between counterparts, and escalating issues to senior leadership when appropriate. Success is measured by partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, referral conversion rates, and the day-to-day health of each partnership. Key responsibilities include: owning operational relationships with GRC and compliance automation partners as the primary point of contact; managing referral flow across all customer segments with consistent, high-quality handoffs; maintaining operating cadence with regular check-ins, joint business reviews, and shared trackers; serving as the frontline escalation point for partner or customer issues; tracking referral volume, conversion, split-credit accuracy, and partner-sourced pipeline; and proactively reporting on trends rather than waiting for requests. You will also coordinate go-to-market execution with internal teams, ensure partners have the resources and support needed to succeed, identify expansion opportunities within existing partnerships, and contribute to the overall partnership strategy.
