Hippo is a tech-native insurance carrier platform that uses technology and data to help customers protect their homes and assets. The company partners with managing general agents (MGAs) to deliver tailored program solutions.
You will manage a diverse caseload of general liability claims across multiple jurisdictions, handling bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, products liability, and related exposures. Your responsibilities include investigating and evaluating claims, conducting thorough coverage analysis, interviewing claimants and witnesses, partnering with legal counsel and defense attorneys on litigated matters, setting appropriate case reserves, and negotiating settlements directly with claimants and third-party representatives.
You will ensure compliance with state-specific unfair claims practices acts and licensing requirements across all jurisdictions you handle.
