Vanta is a Series D security and compliance automation platform on a mission to help businesses earn and prove trust. The Integrations Platform team powers Vanta's trust automation ecosystem, managing over 400 integrations across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity providers, MDM, and HRIS systems.
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Integrations Platform team, you will design, build, and own full-stack features and platform primitives that internal teams, partners, and customers depend on. You'll contribute to authentication, data-ingestion, and schema-evolution services that keep integrations with external systems secure and reliable. Your work will involve building secure, well-documented, scalable services and UIs using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, while improving performance, operational excellence, and SDLC practices.
The team's North Star is to eliminate barriers to building integrations by enabling anyone to create an integration in minutes using declarative, low-code, and no-code patterns, supercharged by AI agents.
You should have 6+ years of full-stack development experience building reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant systems. Strong expertise in platform and API design is essential—you've built APIs and reusable components others depend on, with solid grounding in RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, JWT), and security best practices. Experience building data integrations from external systems, utilizing best practices like rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and webhooks, is critical. You demonstrate systems thinking, designing for scale, reliability, and failure modes. You collaborate well across teams, take feedback into your designs, and are on a trajectory toward broader technical ownership. You're open to using AI to amplify your skills and strengthen your work, demonstrating curiosity and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.
