Salary: USD 163,100 - 215,000 / annual

The Growth organization focuses on helping customers understand and maximize Algolia's platform through product improvements, new features, and exceptional user experience.
In this Senior Fullstack Engineer role, you will architect and build a scalable growth platform while mentoring other engineers. Key responsibilities include designing innovative solutions to help users adopt Algolia, executing A/B tests and experiments to validate approaches, collaborating with Product and Design teams on growth opportunities, and improving engineering quality and processes. You'll work across the full stack—backend (Ruby, Golang) and frontend (React, TypeScript)—shipping features end-to-end.
Recent projects include new data integrations with developer platforms, marketplace and billing integrations, internal platforms (notifications, experimentation, feature flagging), and AI-based data processing. You'll help define the team roadmap using a bottom-up approach where teams identify initiatives tied to key metrics.
You should have strong fullstack capabilities with experience in server-side languages (Ruby preferred, Golang a plus) and modern frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS). Event-driven infrastructure experience in GCP or AWS is important. A data-driven mindset and passion for delivering excellent UX to diverse user types (engineers, marketers, merchandisers) are essential. Experience in scale-ups or growth teams, and familiarity with analytics platforms like Amplitude or Hex, are nice-to-haves.
