Vanta is a Series D security compliance platform helping businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification. The Expansion Team focuses on product-led growth, building the systems that power self-serve purchasing, trials, renewals, and revenue automation.
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Expansion Team, you'll own complex projects that directly impact Vanta's growth trajectory. You'll design and develop core systems including seamless checkout flows, self-serve upgrade paths, intuitive renewal pages, and billing infrastructure integration. You'll also build the platform enabling "try before you buy" experiences, creating a unified trials framework that other product teams can leverage.
Your technical leadership will shape critical infrastructure as Vanta scales rapidly. You'll work with TypeScript, React, and Node.js to deliver high-impact products and infrastructure. The role involves leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, setting technical direction for key systems, and contributing to engineering culture.
Success requires at least 5 years of industry experience, prior technical leadership on teams or complex projects, and startup experience or bias-for-action environments. Greenfield project experience and security domain interest are valued. The company emphasizes responsible AI adoption to amplify skills and efficiency.
