LiveRamp is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable product and platform features for its Data Marketplace. You will work across customer-facing experiences, backend services, and ecosystem integrations, partnering with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and engineering teams to solve complex technical problems.
Key responsibilities include designing and building core Data Marketplace capabilities across APIs, services, and user-facing workflows; leading medium-to-large technical initiatives from design through production rollout; driving architecture and implementation decisions for systems supporting marketplace discovery, activation, monetization, and partner integrations; improving reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence; collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate product requirements into technical solutions; raising engineering standards through code reviews, testing practices, and documentation; mentoring engineers and helping teams navigate ambiguous problem spaces; and contributing to AI-forward marketplace experiences including automated discovery and data access systems.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience); strong experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications; proficiency in backend languages such as Go, Java, or Python; ability to contribute effectively to backend-heavy or full-stack projects; strong ownership mindset with track record of driving projects from concept to launch; ability to work in ambiguous environments and translate business problems into durable technical solutions; experience collaborating across teams and influencing technical direction; passion for code quality, testing, maintainability, and operational excellence; excellent communication and collaborative working style.
Nice-to-have skills include TypeScript and React experience, cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform), event-driven or streaming systems, background job orchestration, distributed data workflows, AdTech/MarTech/data marketplace experience, 0-to-1 product development or legacy system modernization at scale, and interest in AI-enabled product experiences and automated data discovery.
