As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll own complex technical problems end-to-end, from design through deployment. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Security, and Operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that power CLEAR's identity ecosystem. The role spans three core pillars: Core Identity, CLEAR1 (digital identity), and CLEAR Travel, with team matching occurring during the interview process.
Key responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable full-stack applications; owning projects from technical discovery through implementation and operational support; translating business problems into simple, scalable technical solutions; driving engineering excellence through improved reliability, performance, and observability; contributing to architectural decisions; and mentoring teammates through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
You'll work with a modern tech stack: Python (backend), React and TypeScript (frontend), AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of production full-stack engineering experience, strong fundamentals in distributed systems and APIs, proven ability to own complex cross-functional projects, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and have a demonstrated bias for action.
