As a Senior Fullstack Engineer focused on Operational Automations, you will embed directly within brokerage operations to systematically eliminate manual work and replace it with durable, auditable software systems. You'll start by immersing yourself in operational workflows—observing, documenting, and understanding processes end-to-end before designing solutions. Every recurring manual process is treated as a system defect, and every fix is measured by real-world impact on efficiency and reliability.
Key responsibilities include: designing, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring production automations and UIs that remove manual steps; partnering with frontend engineers to productize ops tooling for global teams; executing operational procedures to surface painful manual processes; instrumenting and reporting baseline metrics (MTTC, manual steps removed, queue sizes); producing Platform Opportunity Briefs/RFCs for higher-level platform tooling; collaborating with licensed BD leadership, Compliance, and Security to build auditable automations with role-based access; and owning the full lifecycle of systems including CI/CD deployment, proactive monitoring, on-call rotations, and incident response.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of professional software engineering with proven track record shipping and operating complex, large-scale production systems; strong business sense and operations understanding; deep hands-on expertise in Golang including concurrency models, memory management, and standard library; proven track record building user-facing features end-to-end with TypeScript/React; proficiency with SQL and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL); ability to reason about human workflows as systems; experience with observability, tracing, and continuous profiling; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; and high ownership mindset favoring durable, structural fixes.
Nice-to-haves include: knowledge of service-oriented architectures; experience with major cloud platforms (primarily GCP); financial market knowledge (exchanges, broker-dealers, clearing); and Docker/Kubernetes experience.
