As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will drive core technical decisions and solve complex problems while participating in architecture and technical direction decisions. You'll mentor engineering colleagues in a hands-on environment, with a strong focus on understanding business context, customer needs, and technical constraints to design pragmatic, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end software development from requirements to production deployment for key products (e.g., accounting and reporting systems)
- Contribute to team culture and continuously improve development processes based on data and feedback
- Leverage modern technologies (React Query, gRPC) to solve customer problems at scale
- Take operational responsibility for team-owned components
- Share technical expertise, architect solutions, and advance team best practices
You'll work in a small, agile team within a people-first, high-trust environment with autonomy to make significant impact and grow through meaningful challenges and continuous learning.
The role is hybrid with 3 days/week on-site expectation. REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional experience with Java/Kotlin and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency with modern frameworks: Spring Boot and React
- Strong AWS experience including cost-management (SNS/SQS, Kinesis, Lambdas; Terraform a plus)
- Event-driven and microservice architecture knowledge (anti-corruption layer, event sourcing, CQRS)
- Ability to collaborate and grow in dynamic, autonomous environments
- Impact-oriented, collaborative, empathetic, focused, curious, well-organized with continuous improvement mindset
- Experience leading design solutions from scratch to impact with hands-on support
- Working proficiency in English
- Confident AI-augmented development experience with focus on solution quality and cost-efficient usage (Claude Code preferred)
- Experience with or strong interest in accounting systems/ledgers (distinct advantage)
