We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own meaningful product features end-to-end. You will be equally comfortable building React interfaces, designing Rails services, and reasoning about database architecture and infrastructure. This is a core product role where your work directly impacts the reliability and capability of the platform our users and partners depend on.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shipping product features across the full stack (React/TypeScript frontend, Rails backend, databases, GCP infrastructure)
- Owning meaningful product areas end-to-end, taking responsibility for design, implementation, performance, and reliability
- Making pragmatic architectural decisions around data modeling, API design, and infrastructure that scale with the company
- Partnering closely with product, design, clinical, and operations teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into simple user experiences
- Raising the technical bar through thoughtful code review, design feedback, and shared engineering standards
- Mentoring and sponsoring less experienced engineers to accelerate team growth
- Building and integrating AI-powered features into production
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications
- Strong proficiency across the stack: React and TypeScript frontend, Ruby on Rails backend
- Solid command of relational databases and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)
- Track record of owning features end-to-end and making sound architectural trade-offs with limited supervision
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered features into production (LLM workflows, RAG, ML-assisted automation)
Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud Platform experience, healthcare data/HIPAA compliance background, and experience at early-stage or high-growth startups establishing scalable engineering practices.
Compensation: $180,000–$210,000 annually plus company equity. Remote-first team with $1,000 work-from-home stipend, unlimited PTO plus 10 paid holidays, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k), and frequent team off-sites.
