Archive is a Series B resale platform company that powers branded secondhand commerce for major brands including Lululemon, The North Face, New Balance, Dr. Martens, and Peloton. The role is a hands-on Senior Fullstack Engineer on a small, high-autonomy team building the infrastructure behind the $350B+ secondhand market.
You will own fullstack features end-to-end across a modern stack (Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, Postgres), from design through release and maintenance. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining robust integrations (payments, gift cards, etc.), debugging production issues across the stack, and making pragmatic architecture decisions balancing speed, scale, and reliability. The team operates without a traditional product manager, so you'll take real ownership, collaborate cross-functionally, and participate in on-call rotation.
A defining characteristic of this role is its AI-native development workflow. You'll use Claude and AI coding agents like Devin as a standard part of your daily work, not as an experiment. The team values judgment about where AI tools accelerate development and where human expertise is critical. You'll help set the bar for how the engineering team builds in an AI-default world.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record as a fullstack engineer with production experience across frontend and backend, genuine enthusiasm for AI-first development practices, and a bias toward action in fast-moving environments. You should be comfortable with systems design, reasoning about scale and trade-offs, and debugging unfamiliar systems. Experience with the specific stack and multi-tenant platforms is a bonus. The team values low egos, high agency, and pragmatism over process.
