Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion. The Maritime Digital Production (MDP) team builds the full technology stack powering Anduril's shipbuilding factories—from real-time data infrastructure to manufacturing execution systems to AI-driven production optimization.
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Systems Integrity Group (SIG), you will architect and build simulation and digital twin validation frameworks that verify manufactured output matches engineering intent. You'll develop full-stack applications powered by Unreal Engine 5 for immersive 3D visualization, create verification and validation (V&V) automation tooling, and build data-rich interfaces that give engineering and operations teams walkable views of factory and production systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building full-stack web applications that orchestrate simulation frameworks, digital twin validation, and V&V automation workflows
- Developing UE5-based 3D visualization interfaces ingesting real-time data from the Unified Namespace
- Partnering with manufacturing engineers and factory operators to translate production workflows into software requirements
- Designing tooling that verifies as-built geometry, assembly sequences, and quality measurements against design specifications
- Integrating with simulation frameworks (OMNeT++, SimPy, Gazebo, CARLA) for factory co-simulation and scenario testing
- Developing automated V&V pipelines for integration tests, validation checks, and compliance verification
- Architecting data pipelines connecting CAD models, PLM data, real-time sensors, and simulation results
- Building responsive web interfaces for V&V dashboards, test management, and validation reporting
- Deploying and operating systems in factory environments including edge compute and OT networks
- Participating in on-call rotation supporting production factory systems
- Collaborating cross-functionally with simulation engineers, systems architects, and manufacturing teams
Required: 6+ years building production systems in fast-paced environments, deep full-stack web development expertise (frontend and backend), strong technical fluency in modern architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud/edge infrastructure, proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and related web technologies.
