Salary: USD 174,800 - 205,700 / annual
Acorns is building a new Community product team from scratch to drive organic growth through network effects and engagement mechanics. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll own features end-to-end across iOS, Android, Web, and backend services that power Acorns' growth engine.
You'll build the systems and features that create engagement loops, referral mechanics, social sharing flows, real-time interactions, and social graphs. Your work will reach millions of users, many investing for the first time. You'll own features from early concept through shipped product, with full accountability for quality and performance in production.
Key responsibilities include designing data models, writing APIs, shipping client implementations, and instrumenting features with analytics to drive iteration. You'll work directly with the CEO, a Senior Product Manager, and a Senior Product Designer in a tight, high-trust team that moves fast.
Ideal candidates have shipped social or engagement systems at scale, owned features end-to-end across multiple platforms, and have depth in at least one of: Swift, Kotlin, React Native, TypeScript, Dart, or Python. You're comfortable in fast-moving, low-process environments, leverage AI-assisted development tools as force multipliers, and have demonstrated ability to build across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. Experience with growth/engagement instrumentation and a track record of shipping production features that reach millions is expected.
