MISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, is merging with Fictiv to create a unified platform for manufacturing. The company combines standard, configurable, and custom parts with an AI-enabled digital manufacturing platform, serving engineers and procurement teams across the Americas.
In this Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role, you will own the design and delivery of business-critical services across the full stack. You'll write clean, well-tested code using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js, building highly available systems on AWS with event-driven architectures. Your responsibilities include translating complex requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions; shipping high-quality, defect-free code with comprehensive tests and documentation; and taking end-to-end ownership from design through deployment with minimal oversight.
You'll collaborate closely with adjacent teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and unblock progress, communicate proactively on task status and project impact, and contribute actively to technical design reviews. You're expected to help debug production issues, clear blockers, and improve shared systems—even when the issue isn't yours—modeling the collaborative engineering culture the team values.
Required experience includes 3–6 years of full-stack engineering; strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js; hands-on AWS work (SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, AWS File Transfer Family, Amazon Bedrock); demonstrated ability to develop clean, maintainable microservices and APIs; commitment to quality through unit and integration testing (Jest required); experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases; and proficiency with Datadog for monitoring and performance analysis.
Additional valued skills include experience deploying and scaling modern web applications on AWS and Vercel; ability to analyze and reverse-engineer legacy or undocumented code; hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools; proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous tasks and drive them to completion; strong organizational skills managing multiple timelines; experience with distributed systems, caching, and security fundamentals (OWASP Top 10); and .NET development experience.
The role emphasizes continuous improvement, curiosity, exploring new patterns and technologies, and contributing to the company's Quality Management System. You'll work in an environment that values diverse perspectives, strong teamwork, respect, honesty, collaboration, and growth.
